高橋陽一先生が描く、世界的人気を誇るサッカー漫画「キャプテン翼」と、明治40年創業の老舗「染の安坊」とのコラボアイテムの登場です。

職人が1枚1枚手作業で染め上げる伝統的な染色方法「手捺染（てなせん）」の技術により、手ぬぐいらしい滑らかな肌触りはそのままに、原作絵を細部まで忠実に再現しています。

浴衣などにも使用される、コシのあるきめ細かい高級生地「特岡（とくおか）」を使用し、色落ちを防ぐため何度も水洗いを行うなど、人手と時間をかけて丁寧に仕上げた手ぬぐいです。
